Mining Hydrologist Opportunity

This position involves conducting and managing hydrological and hydrogeological investigations related to mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement hydrological studies for mining sites, assessing water resources and modeling surface and groundwater systems.
- Conduct field investigations including water sampling, well installations, and aquifer testing.
- Perform groundwater modeling using MODFLOW or similar tools.
- Develop sustainable water management plans that comply with environmental frameworks.
- Prepare technical reports, impact assessments, and regulatory submissions.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, consultants, and project teams.
- Support permitting processes and risk assessments.
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrology, Geology, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering (required).
- Master's degree in Hydrogeology or a related discipline (preferred).
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in mining or water resource projects.
- Proficiency in hydrological modeling software.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
