This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team as a Senior Applications Verification Engineer. As a key member of our IC product line, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing verification plans for our cutting-edge semiconductor designs.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic engineering and experience with HW emulation as a tool for pre-silicon verification of IC designs. You will be responsible for developing FPGA-based IC verification plans to support UVM verification, performance and completeness verification of designs on FPGA platforms prior to IC tapeouts, and deep understanding of power systems and insight into performance improvements and optimizations.
- We are seeking an expert who can drive the development and ownership of design evaluation plans, manage a structured, organized lab environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- You will also be responsible for benchmarking FPGA and IC applications performance against customer requirements/specifications, designing verification IP that allows portability between UVM pre-silicon verification environments, FPGA-based HW emulation platforms and final silicon.
- In addition, you will be responsible for protocol compliance testing of proprietary digital communications interfaces and verification of digital protocol interfaces for full specification compliance.
- As a senior member of our team, you will also be involved in planning, tracking and reporting of project progress against key milestones, project management, planning and status tracking, and structured issue tracking and reporting.
- The successful candidate will have a PhD, post-graduate or degree qualification in Electronic Engineering or similar and 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience and knowledge of power conversion, extensive experience in the development and ownership of design evaluation plans, and experience in HW emulation as a tool for pre-silicon verification of IC designs.
