Manufacturing Maintenance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Cork team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to work on a 3-day week, providing an excellent shift premium and better work-life balance without sacrificing earnings.

The Role
  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, including both planned and unplanned maintenance operations.
  • Conducting root cause analysis to implement lasting fixes and minimize downtime, maximizing machine uptime and output.
  • Collaborating with engineers and value streams on projects to eliminate recurring issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Providing effective reporting on maintenance activities and equipment status.
  • Ensuring full compliance with GMP and FDA standards at all times.
Key Requirements
  • A Level 6 Qualification (trade or relevant discipline).
  • Strong electrical and electronic repair/diagnostic skills, with experience in pneumatics.
  • Mechanical problem-solving expertise.
  • Previous manufacturing experience (medical devices, pharma, or regulated industry an advantage).
  • Knowledge of GMP, with cleanroom experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Proficiency with computers and maintenance systems (CMMS).
  • A collaborative mindset, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
