Perioperative Leadership Opportunity

The Theatre and Anaesthesia Workstream is seeking a highly skilled individual to lead the implementation of key inpatient clinical applications, including Theatre, Theatre Materials Management and anaesthesia solution capabilities.

This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the EHR implementation across UPMC Ireland, working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre, recovery and ancillary staff to ensure system functionality aligns with their needs.

The successful candidate will provide strategic and tactical leadership for the Theatre and Anaesthesia workstream, ensuring alignment with clinical operations, financial systems, and overall programme goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of key inpatient clinical applications.
  • Act as the application champion at the group level, ensuring alignment of system functionality with surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre, recovery and ancillary staff.
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership for the Theatre and Anaesthesia workstream.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with postgraduate perioperative qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of perioperative experience in an acute care hospital or surgical center.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting or leading system implementations (preferably MEDITECH or similar ERP/EHR platforms).
