Mechanical Site Manager

">Job Description:

The Mechanical Site Manager plays a key role in overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services. This position requires collaboration with suppliers, site supervisors, project managers, EHSQ advisors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.

">Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services
  • Ensure all relevant permits are in place
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  • Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team
  • Coordinate plant hire, tools, and labor on-site
  • Manage labor and subcontractors
  • Manage external correspondence
  • Order day-to-day site materials
  • Update progress reports
  • Maintain K&M Document Management System
  • Manage project-specific scheduling
  • Communicate changes to the project team
  • Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring
">Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant engineering or trades qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
  • People management experience
  • Project management experience is beneficial
  • Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel if/when required
