Accountant Position Description

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

In addition to your technical skills, you should have a strong attention to detail, be able to work independently, and possess excellent organizational skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Part- Qualified Accountant, ideally through CIMA, or with similar experience.">
  • Strong Excel skills, especially with large datasets.">
  • Comfortable using accounting systems—QuickBooks preferred, but others are welcome.">
  • Naturally curious, eager to understand how our business operates, and proactive in finding process improvements.">
  • Communicates clearly, works methodically, and partners well across the team.">

About the Role:

">Maintain entries, reconciliations, and journal postings in General Ledger Management">
  • ">
  • Analyse financial data and prepare accurate financial reports.">
  • Oversee daily activities of accounts assistants, ensuring timely collections while maintaining strong client relationships.">
  • Suggest systems implementation and recommend enhancements in Systems & Process Improvement.">
  • Manage fixed asset logs, supplier contracts, rebates, and more in Internal Register Maintenance.">
  • Collaborate with external accountants for year-end statements.">
