Production Line Specialist

Job Overview:

This is a vital position in the successful operation of the production line.

  • The Equipment Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring technical performance and reliability of equipment, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maintaining optimal product output.
  • They will be responsible for owning key metrics for equipment uptime and product yields, working to continuously improve processes and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • The specialist will own proactive equipment management, completing routine maintenance tasks on time, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • They will also support the onboarding of new team members, ensure tooling is available and in good condition, and maintain a robust process for consumable equipment spares.
  • In addition, they will review manufacturing processes, communicate effectively, and support equipment introduction and documentation.

Requirements:

  • A Level 6 or above qualification in Engineering or equivalent (preferably Mechanical, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical role in a similar field, with demonstrated experience in automated equipment maintenance an advantage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex machine faults and resolve issues.
  • Highly motivated with good initiative and strong work ethic, as well as excellent time management, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality, safety and GMP standards.
