Key Freelance Role: Merchandiser

About the Position:

A leading field marketing agency is seeking experienced freelance merchandisers to work with top household brands in Ireland.

The role involves representing brands daily in stores, building and maintaining displays, and developing strong relationships with in-store personnel.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maximise shelf space and visibility of all brand products through effective display management.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with in-store personnel to sustain active co-operation in display of brand products.
  • Manage stock rotation in store to minimise wastage, requiring some heavy lifting on occasion.
  • Accurately record relevant information in-store, including reporting on merchandising completed and competitor displays.
  • Work on AD HOC contracts as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous merchandising or retail experience is essential.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic attitude, as this position may be physically demanding.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service approach.
  • IT literate with ability to use handheld technology.
  • Full B Drivers Licence (Irish/EU).
