CareBright is a pioneering organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support services for individuals with dementia. We are seeking a skilled Healthcare and Activity Specialist to join our team, contributing to the creation of a vibrant, homelike atmosphere for residents.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that promotes independence, choice, and dignity for residents.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify resident care needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of their requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver person-centered care, prioritizing the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
- Provide personalized support and care to residents, respecting their autonomy and dignity.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care plans, progress, and outcomes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- A qualified healthcare professional with a strong background in dementia care and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents and their families.
- A minimum of QQI level 5 qualification in Homecare Support or equivalent.
- Good knowledge and experience of working with older adults, particularly those with dementia.
- A client-focused, dedicated, and reliable individual who prioritizes the needs of others.
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work 60 hours over 2 weeks, from 12:30 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
