Third Party Risk Management Specialist

This role involves supporting the Enterprise Resilience Vendor Resiliency Program. Key activities include assessing vendor resiliency and recovery capabilities, maintaining continued operations, recoverability, and loss mitigation in the event of a disruption.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, escalating, and reporting to management on vendor resiliency risk, reducing the risk of vendor-related disruptions.

Collaboration with Business Continuity teams is required to develop, update, enhance, and monitor vendor resilience within business continuity plans.

This position also involves managing vendor data within resiliency tools, ensuring high-level data quality and synchronization with associated systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assess vendor resiliency risk through vendor assessments to identify capabilities related to business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management
  • Communicate effectively with vendors to ensure timely completion and compliance of assessments
  • Identify, monitor, escalate, and report to management on vendor resiliency risk to reduce the risk of vendor-related disruptions
  • Work with Business Continuity teams to develop, update, enhance, and monitor vendor resilience within business continuity plans
  • Manage vendor data within resiliency tools, ensuring high-level data quality and synchronization with associated systems
  • Correspond to inquiries received to vendor resilience mailbox
  • Participate in the development of SOPs, communication, training, and educational programs related to program outcomes

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in third-party risk management, business continuity, enterprise resilience, or risk management.

A strong understanding of Microsoft O365; Fusion Risk Management and Archer is preferred.

Candidates must possess exceptional organizational and communications skills, including the ability to listen effectively, understand varied business concepts, and communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.

Ability to analyze multiple sources of information and provide appropriate data to support event response is essential.

Customer service skills, a strong level of business impact focus, and sensitivity are required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Completion of high school (or higher) or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in third-party risk management, business continuity, enterprise resilience, or risk management
