Key Responsibilities- Manage ecological monitoring programs across multiple peatland sites.
- Collaborate with project partners to deliver baseline surveys, biodiversity assessments, and mapping initiatives.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including conservation staff, landowners, volunteers, and local communities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of flora, fauna, and key nature conservation issues.
- Technical expertise in peatland ecology and restoration.
- Strong ecological survey and monitoring skills.
- Experience analyzing data and producing scientific reports.
- Confidence working in the field and building relationships with farmers and landowners.
- Experience using GIS software to map, collect, and analyze environmental data.
