A career-defining opportunity awaits for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer with expertise in wastewater networks design. Our dynamic team invites applications from accomplished professionals to lead the planning, design, and delivery of wastewater network solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong pipeline of projects underway, taking technical leadership roles in collaborative environments. Key responsibilities include leading and delivering wastewater network projects, including drainage system upgrades, new pipelines, and new/upgraded pumping stations.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing reports such as feasibility studies, planning reports, site assessments, and technical evaluations. Additionally, you will manage others in preparation of deliverables such as designs, reports, and contract documents.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines to client satisfaction.

We seek candidates with relevant third-level degrees in engineering (Level 7 or higher). Ideally, Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is desired. At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a design role, is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and delivering wastewater network projects
  • Delivery of projects for water utilities, local authorities, and private sector clients
  • Preparation of reports such as feasibility studies, planning reports, site assessments, and technical evaluations
  • Managing others in preparation of deliverables such as designs, reports, and contract documents
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients and contractors
Requirements:
  • Relevant third-level degree in engineering (Level 7 or higher)
  • Ideally, Chartered Engineer status or equivalent
  • At least 8 years relevant engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a design role
  • Possess excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and mentor more junior staff
  • Ability to work well under pressure and proven track record of meeting deliverable deadlines to client satisfaction
