Senior Automation Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation solutions and contribute to the development of innovative technologies.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and commission automation control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using modern automation technologies
- Develop software for bespoke machinery and manufacturing systems
- Engage directly with customers to understand and deliver on technical requirements
- Review and improve current technologies and processes
- Support operations with technical problem-solving and project documentation management
- Third-level degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Practical experience in automation (Rockwell, Ignition, Siemens, OSI PI Historian, VBA are all beneficial)
- Networking knowledge (Cisco certification or VMware experience is a plus)
- Understanding of robotics and safety standards is advantageous
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- A full driving licence
