Automation Specialists Drive Industry Advancement

As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain automation control systems.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Working closely with technical teams to deliver innovative automation projects
  • Designing and implementing software solutions for bespoke machinery and manufacturing systems
  • Engaging directly with customers to understand and meet their technical requirements
  • Reviewing and enhancing current automation technologies and processes
  • Providing technical support and problem-solving services to operations teams
  • Preparing comprehensive project documentation and managing change control
  • Maintaining a proactive, solution-focused approach to work

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Louth, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A third-level degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • Practical experience in automation (Rockwell, Ignition, Siemens, OSI PI Historian, VBA are beneficial)
  • Networking knowledge (Cisco certification or VMware experience is advantageous)
  • Understanding of robotics and safety standards is advantageous
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
  • A full driving license
