Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Swimming Coach to join our Leisure team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year working experience as a Swimming Coach in a Leisure Centre or Gym, with qualifications including fully qualified and certified Swim Teacher - Level 1-2, Valid Lifeguard certification, and Certified in Occupational First Aid.

  • Develop and implement swimming programs for individuals and groups.
  • Demonstrate proper techniques and corrective measures; monitor progress and provide feedback.
  • Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations within the Leisure Centre.
  • Plan routines, select appropriate activities, and tailor movements to participants' capabilities and limitations.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will instruct and coach individuals and groups in exercise activities and the fundamentals of swimming. You will also evaluate individuals' abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develop suitable training programs for special requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year working experience as a Swimming Coach in a Leisure Centre or Gym.
  • Qualifications including fully qualified and certified Swim Teacher - Level 1-2, Valid Lifeguard certification, and Certified in Occupational First Aid.
