Job Title: Desktop Field Engineer – Nationwide Travel

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to fill the role of Desktop Field Engineer.

This position involves delivering technical support and networking solutions to clients across Ireland. The successful candidate will have experience in desktop support, network troubleshooting, and hardware/software installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site IT support across Ireland, including desktop and network troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, Windows operating systems, printers, and networking equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain PCs, servers, switches, routers, and related IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT support, desktop support, or field service engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Windows Server, LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.
  • Experience working with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Full, clean Irish driving licence (essential).
