Off-Grid Conservation Opportunity
">We are seeking a volunteer to join our team in New Zealand for an off-grid environmental conservation project. Located in the cloud-forest of Tutamoe Peak, this sanctuary is dedicated to protecting and restoring the native flora and fauna of the region.
Job Description:The volunteer will assist with various tasks including cutting and marking tracks, installing and refilling bait stations, monitoring kiwi, kokako, and rodents, as well as participating in data entry and weeding/planting activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience in conservation work or related field; basic knowledge of sustainability practices; physical ability to perform manual labor; willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
