Job Title: Special Care Worker

Job Summary:

This is a Special Care Worker opportunity to provide short-term, therapeutic, and stabilizing care to young people at risk in a secure and supportive environment.

The units we work in offer higher staff-to-young-person ratios, often with on-site education and psychological input. Our innovative Safety Pods Initiative has been well-received by young people, providing a safe and dignified environment during challenging situations.

Requirements:
  • A Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience working with children is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland is necessary.
  • Knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care is a must.
  • CORU registration is highly desirable.
