Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality within our distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and verify food safety and quality policies across our distribution network.
  • Evaluate suppliers and products to ensure they meet all internal and external standards.
  • Maintain accreditation with relevant food safety certifications.
  • Investigate and resolve product-related customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Compile and issue reports on quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve food safety and quality processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and maintenance of quality documentation.
  • Participate in quality training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Degree in a recognized field such as food science, quality control, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proven track record of implementing quality improvements and achieving results-driven outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
