Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Data Analyst to join our organization. This role involves the analysis and interpretation of complex data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data transformation workflows using industry-standard tools and platforms. They will also manage secure data transfers, write and optimize SQL queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data transformation workflows to automate fund accounting data ingestion and processing.
  • Managing secure data transfers to ensure compliance with internal and external data handling policies.
  • Writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Collaborating with Fund Accounting and Technology teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to minimize operational impact.
  • Documenting processes, data flows, and transformation logic to support audit and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in data transformation or data operations roles, preferably within financial services or fund accounting.
  • Experience of fund accounting is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with Xceptor and MoveIT is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with fund accounting principles and custody operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Location & Schedule

This role is based in Cherrywood and requires a hybrid/flexible schedule. You can expect to work 3+ days per week in the office and have flexibility to work outside the office location for the remaining days.
