Supply Chain Leadership Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the supply chain organizational vision and strategic objectives, building and developing a diverse team of professionals, partnering with senior leadership to execute on site and enterprise-wide strategy, and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver the supply chain organizational vision and strategic objectives.
  2. Build, develop and mentor a diverse team of professionals within your function.
  3. Partner with senior leadership to execute on site and enterprise-wide strategy.
  4. Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product availability aligned to production plans.
  5. Drive continuous improvements to sustain operational excellence and improved financial performance across the team.
  6. Take responsibility for health and safety, environmental and energy sustainability programmes within the supply chain function.
  7. Develop senior level relationships with suppliers to resolve critical issues and implement value-added processes.
  8. Monitor and achieve optimal inventory turnover consistent with plant efficiencies, customer service and distribution requirements.
  9. Maintain the internal rolling forecast file used to track inventory, production schedule adherence, production batch status and shipment schedule adherence.
  10. Identify and implement continuous improvement projects in the supply chain and warehouse areas.
  11. Work with the quality system to ensure site quality policy and GMP/GDP compliance.
  12. Contribute to the development of the global supply chain function as an active participant of the global team.
