The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen's back house areas, including plate wash, pot wash, canteen, still room, kitchen, and fridges. They will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of stairs and rubbish area outside, compacting down rubbish and storing it correctly, and emptying the bottle bin daily.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning and maintenance of back house areas, including plate wash, pot wash, canteen, still room, kitchen, and fridges.
2. Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of stairs and rubbish area outside.
3. Ensuring adherence to all cleaning schedules and deep cleaning is checked and signed off by a Head of Department.
4. Reporting any breakages to the Head of Department for recording purposes.
5. Cleaning and maintaining the plate wash machine.
6. Ensuring hand wash basins are kept clean and free from obstructions.
7. Maintaining company and statutory hygiene standards.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment (advantageous but not required)

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
