Environmental Permitting and Compliance Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a seasoned environmental permitting expert to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in environmental compliance and permitting, with a deep understanding of relevant UK and European legislation.
- Advising clients on regulatory implications for their business operations
- Undertaking licence compliance studies, liability risk assessments, and Best Available Techniques (BAT) studies
- Developing and implementing mitigation measures, management plans, and management systems
- Managing and completing EHS audits, including legal and operational compliance
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in an engineering or science discipline and significant consultancy experience, particularly in environmental compliance and permitting. Excellent communication and report-writing skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects.
