Electrical Engineer – Capital Projects

A leading pharmaceutical site in Co. Tipperary requires an Electrical Engineer to support a major capital project.

Job Description:

  • Support electrical project delivery, including design reviews and validation, ensuring the design, installation, and handover of electrical systems meet all safety, compliance, and operational standards.

  • Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to oversee the installation of systems such as LV distribution, MCCs, UPS, instrumentation, and fire detection.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and change control processes to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in an electrical engineering role (preferably in pharma or similar sector).

  • Strong knowledge of electrical power, control, and instrumentation systems.

  • Skilled in project scheduling, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Familiar with project life cycles in operational plant environments.
