Job Title:

Clinical Nurse Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, carers, and other professionals.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and provide evidence-based clinical interventions.
  • Participate in ward rounds, Tribunals, and other multi-professional meetings to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records, complete supervision and appraisals, and report any professional issues as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registered on the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or working towards equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5+ years post-qualification/registration psychiatric nursing experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years relevant experience in a management position within psychiatric nursing.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to empathize with others.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and IT skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
