Key Responsibilities
The Senior Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance on corporate, restructuring, transaction, and indirect tax implications for financial services clients. This includes reviewing corporation tax computations and returns for large groups, collaborating with specialist tax areas, and developing client relationships.
Key Tasks Include:
- Provide comprehensive tax advice to financial services clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Review and manage corporation tax computations and returns for large groups, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with specialist tax areas within the firm to ensure effective delivery of tax services.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
- Take responsibility for developing and leading a team, including mentoring and performance management.
Requirements
- Achieved or working towards AITI/ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualifications.
- Senior Manager level experience or at least 3 years at Manager grade, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Desirable but not essential: Experience working with financial services clients.
- Strong technical and presentational skills, with ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively.
- Ability to handle a large client portfolio and lead a high-performing team.
