Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at the Fitzwilton Hotel. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen and all back of house areas.

Key responsibilities include preparing and properly garnishing food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation. You will also ensure close down of section in accordance with departmental procedures and standards.

Additionally, you will take direction from the department managers and assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards. To achieve this, you must adhere to HACCP procedures at all times and ensure that all kitchen staff observe appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.


Requirements / Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Flexible working hours to help maintain a good work-life balance
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Chef de Partie
  • Knowledge of HACCP and experience in practice
  • Experience in a four-star kitchen is desirable
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure as part of a team
