Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Relief Chef to work in Waterford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to menu and client specifications.
  • Consistency and Quality: Maintain consistency and quality across different kitchens and service styles.
  • Food Safety: Ensure food is prepared in line with HACCP standards and all health and safety regulations.
  • Teamwork: Work efficiently both independently and as part of various kitchen teams.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
  • Stock Management and Menu Support: Assist with stock management and menu support as needed at each site.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in high-volume or fast-paced kitchens.
  • Strong culinary skills and the ability to hit the ground running in new environments.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude.
  • Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Manual Handling and Food Safety Level 2 certification - training can be provided if needed.
