Expert Cyber Risk Manager

About the Role:
This is a challenging position that requires the ability to conduct thorough security risk assessments on new and existing business partners. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper preventative and detective controls are in place, identifying control weaknesses, and providing recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments of third-party vendors and business partners.
- Develop and implement effective security controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and implementation of security protocols.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on security best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure Northern Trust remains at the forefront of cybersecurity.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of information security principles and industry standards.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and security frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
