Postgraduate Medical Training in Palliative Medicine
Co-National Specialty Director - Higher Specialist TrainingThe Royal College of Physicians of Ireland offers medical training programmes, examinations, diplomas, and educational courses to equip doctors with the skills and knowledge they need to care for patients and run safe and efficient healthcare systems.
To achieve optimum patient care, The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland develops and maintains high professional standards in specialist medical practice.
As a Co-National Specialty Director, you will lead the development and delivery of postgraduate specialist training in Palliative Medicine under the governance of the Education and Training Committee of the Institute of Medicine.
- Chair the Specialty Training Committee (STC) with regular meetings.
- Develop and deliver postgraduate specialist training in Palliative Medicine.
- Work closely with the Education and Training Committee of the Institute of Medicine.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Palliative Medicine and excellent leadership and communication skills.
This role is ideal for an experienced doctor looking to develop their skills in medical education and leadership.
