Join us to fill a pivotal role in the management of our company's financial environment. As a Financial Management Executive, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive services to all departments and overseeing the finance team.
About the RoleThe Financial Management Executive will report directly to the senior leadership team and work closely with all other senior managers and departments to set the strategic direction of the company.
This role encompasses responsibility for the company's financial and management accounting function, including the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual reports, budgeting, and long-term financial strategy.
In addition, this role will involve specific commercial development initiatives and project activities across the group, playing a key role in organizing financial funding to support the company's continued expansion.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage the finance team, ensuring coordination and delivery of internal and external reporting requirements.
- Provide leadership to the accounting team on technical accounting matters.
- Prepare, analyze, and oversee the company's financial statements.
- Prepare and present the company's monthly management accounts.
- Lead the annual audit process in conjunction with the assigned statutory auditor, ensuring audit requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Responsibility for the company's taxation affairs, liaising closely with tax advisors.
- Ensure financial controls are effective and being appropriately applied throughout the company.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the accounting team.
- Lead the assessment of business development opportunities that arise from time to time.
- Support business development activities, including contract negotiation.
- Manage and support teams to ensure staff receive continuing training and development.
- Liaise with brands to ensure all incentives are maximized and paid out in a timely manner.
- Report to brands on a monthly basis.
- Oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements (PAYE, PRSI, VAT, and Corporate Tax).
- Deliver management reports, supporting cost control and business decision-making.
- Collaborate with business leaders to provide data-driven insights and identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Review VAT returns and support corporate tax preparation.
- Champion continuous improvement and drive innovation in systems and processes.
- Support payroll management and processing.
- Hold a primary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Be qualified in accounting and have at least ten years' post-qualification experience in a comparable role within an organization of similar scale and complexity.
- Possess excellent technical accounting skills and strong commercial acumen.
- Show demonstrable experience working in a complex environment with a record of success.
- Have board-level experience with strong presentation skills.
- Be able to manage projects and deliver results.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage teams within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Be able to produce insightful reports and disseminate key information to support decision-making.
- Have a proven track record of implementing change through technology to achieve continuous service improvement.
- Be able to achieve tight deadlines.
- Have good working knowledge of tax legislation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

- This is a permanent full-time onsite role.
