Role Summary:

This key role involves developing technical solutions for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and network infrastructure.

  • Designing and preparing feasibility studies, site assessments and technical evaluations to inform project decisions.
  • Compiling specifications and tender documents to ensure projects meet client requirements.
  • Preparation of planning application documents to facilitate smooth project progression.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including clients and contractors to achieve project goals.
  • Managing junior team members in the preparation of drawings and other project inputs.
  • Providing expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Ecologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant third-level degree and minimum 6 years' post-qualification experience in an ecology role within planning or environmental consultancy.

  • Membership of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience of delivering EIAR, NIS, EcIA and AA is essential.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent technical report writing skills and strong project management and leadership abilities.
