**Procurement Specialist Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled procurement professional to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Kilkenny.

This role will focus on managing procurement activities across multiple categories, with an emphasis on driving value, ensuring supplier performance, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives.

  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, from sourcing to contract execution, to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop and manage key supplier relationships to ensure quality and performance, aligning with our business objectives.
  • Identify and deliver cost reduction and process improvement opportunities, enhancing our operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective sourcing strategies, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity.

About You:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5+ years of procurement experience is required for this position, with indirect procurement experience being a significant advantage.
  • A background in the medical device or other regulated industries is highly desirable but not essential, as we welcome candidates with transferable skills and knowledge.
  • You will possess strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, enabling you to navigate complex procurement scenarios effectively.
  • Your ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally will be invaluable in this role, as you will collaborate closely with various teams to achieve common goals.
