Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in procurement? We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team.

This role will be responsible for managing the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations materials and services to ensure the smooth functioning of facilities and equipment. You will work closely with the maintenance team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to achieve cost efficiency, quality assurance, and compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

  • Source, negotiate, and procure goods and services required for maintenance operations, including spare parts, consumables, tools, and contracted services.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, competitive pricing, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to forecast requirements and minimize downtime of plant and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain an approved supplier list in line with company policy and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies or delays.
  • Track procurement KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, and lead times.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legislation, and directives.
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and reporting for maintenance-related expenditure.
  • Participate in audits, supplier evaluations, and contract reviews.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in maintenance procurement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 23 years' experience in procurement, preferably in maintenance, facilities, or engineering.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems.
  • Good knowledge of health & safety and procurement compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
