Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our paediatric emergency medicine team.

This exciting opportunity allows the right candidate to deliver high-quality care across multiple sites, supporting a consultant-led service 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver emergency and urgent paediatric care.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and major trauma team.
  • Lead and support multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engage in teaching, research, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of emergency care services.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Be registered with the Irish Medical Council as a specialist in Emergency Medicine or Paediatrics.
  • Have at least 2 years' postgraduate experience in related specialties.

  • Highly skilled in managing acute paediatric care.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
