Financial Leadership Role

This is a dynamic and strategic position that oversees the entire finance function at a hotel and leisure complex. As a Financial Controller, you will lead a team of professionals and be responsible for overseeing all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: You will manage a small team of finance professionals, guiding and developing them to excel in their roles.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts, all while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Continuously review and update forecasts for revenue and costs, identifying risks and opportunities that could impact financial performance.
  • Internal Control and Compliance: Review control accounts for reconciliation, monitor internal controls, and develop new ones as necessary.
  • Project Management: Gather details for capital projects and prepare requests for approval from senior management.
  • Cost Management: Collaborate with department heads to monitor costs, particularly weekly staff rosters, and review maintenance and service contracts for maximum value.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management and head office.
Requirements:
  • Fully Qualified ACCA, CIMA, CPA or Similar Qualifications.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience in a Similar Role.
  • Previous Experience as a Financial Controller in Hospitality is an Advantage.
  • Excellent Communication, Organisational and Time Management Skills.
