Automation Specialist

As an automation professional, you will play a pivotal role in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment in a highly regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the setup and testing of production lines and machinery
- Perform routine and predictive maintenance on diverse automation systems, including robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), vision systems and conveyors
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with GMP and ISO 13485 standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and modifications
- Document all work activities in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines
- Hold a degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum two years' experience in an automation or maintenance role, preferably in the medical devices, pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing sector
- Demonstrate expertise in PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.), robotics, servo systems and vision systems
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with regulated environments such as GMP and ISO 13485
- Ability to adapt to changing production requirements and flexible working arrangements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
