Job Description:
The role of Financial Administrator involves providing high-quality support to the finance team in a fast-paced environment. The primary focus will be on Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance on a monthly basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and verifying invoices, preparing and executing payment runs, reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
They will also assist staff as 'super-user' of the Glantus PO system and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and bank account reconciliations.
Additionally, they will support the finance team with month-end activities and reporting, communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve AP-related issues.
They will also be required to identify and report issues with Glantus to the Financial Controller and raise tickets to get issues resolved; follow up with support as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- ATI qualification is preferable but not essential.
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Proficiency in Pegasus Opera or Sage and Microsoft Office is required.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills are crucial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines is required.
