Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned product manager to lead the development of our platform. As a Principal Product Manager, you will define and deliver the core capabilities that power all of our products.

This is a deeply technical and highly cross-functional role, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to drive major company-wide initiatives.

You will partner closely with engineering, design, and other teams to shape shared systems that accelerate development and improve consistency.

  • Own and scale Vanta's product platform, including identity, permissioning, billing, notifications, audit/event logging, and more
  • Define platform vision and long-term roadmap, ensuring it meets the needs of product teams and customers at scale
  • Drive platform alignment across teams, shaping shared systems that accelerate development and improve consistency
  • Act as DRI for key platform-related business metrics, including performance & scalability of the platform for our largest customers, enterprise admin/security experiences (identity, billing, etc.), and collaboration primitives (notifications, tasks, comments)
  • Partner cross-functionally across Engineering, Design, PMM, Sales, and Support to define and deliver seamless platform experiences
  • Mentor and coach PMs working on platform-adjacent areas and contribute to broader product team culture
