Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to lead our risk and compliance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations align with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team within the risk and compliance function, driving alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Manage team resources, planning, and recruitment to meet workload demands.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identifying development needs and devising training programs.
  • Champion organizational goals and values, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Promote objective decision-making and open communication to support team success.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities, enhancing collaboration and productivity.
  • Provide second-line advice, oversight, and challenge to ensure robust risk management.
  • Oversight of compliance with regulations and law, including privacy and data protection.
  • Ensure robust risk and compliance management for significant change projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of financial services regulatory regimes in IE.
  • 5-10 years' experience at a senior level in a regulated environment.
  • Proven leadership and managerial experience, with the ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Professional or industry-relevant qualification.
  • Excellent knowledge of risk and compliance best practices.
  • Experience engaging with regulators.
  • Analyzing complex risk and compliance issues.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with the business, clients, and external parties.
  • 'Hands on' attitude, proactive approach, and ability to get the job done.
  • Understanding commercial impact/benefits of regulatory obligations.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Numerate.
