Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Architect to lead the implementation and maintenance of Oracle financial application systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience with Oracle ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure new rollouts, upgrades, and ongoing improvements for Oracle financial modules.
  • Lead project implementations by developing test scripts, conducting user acceptance testing, and validating system changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance within all system processes.

Requirements:

  • Extensive industry experience (circa 15 years) working with Oracle Financials within finance organisations, preferably in the banking sector.
  • Demonstrable expertise in full life cycle implementation of Oracle Financials with hands-on knowledge of the General Ledger module.
  • Solid understanding of record-to-report processes as well as internal controls relevant to large-scale financial operations.
  • Strong communication skills enabling you to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to develop comprehensive test scripts and scenarios for user acceptance testing as well as system validation
