Job Title: Site Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our facilities operations team. As a Site Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing engineering support and expertise to the Facilities Operations, Utilities, and HVAC teams.

  • You will design and specify new and renovated biopharmaceutical utilities and HVAC equipment, leading small-to-mid-sized projects and contributing to design reviews.
  • In this role, you will also lead problem-solving efforts for complex issues with plant equipment and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions.
  • Your responsibilities will include supporting QA Validation by preparing design documents and assisting in protocol execution, as well as implementing corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical and organisational abilities, and a proactive can-do attitude. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects that will impact the site's overall performance. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and specifying cGMP clean/grey utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and controls
  • Leading small-to-mid-sized projects and contributing to design reviews, site acceptance, and installation of equipment
  • Problem solving for complex issues with plant equipment and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions
  • Supporting QA Validation by preparing design documents and assisting in protocol execution
  • Implementing corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities
  • A proactive can-do attitude
