About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Career Starter. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in accountancy and gain valuable experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements;
- Participate in audit processes;
- Compile management accounts and reports;
- Prepare tax returns, including corporation Tax, VAT, RCT, and Income Tax;
- Process payroll and liaise with external parties;
- Manage client Company Secretarial requirements under supervision;
- Prepare VAT returns and manage accounts;
- Attend client premises and communicate effectively with clients;
- Ensure all work meets high standards of timeliness and technical competence;
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to teamwork activities;
- Represent the organization professionally in all interactions;
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- A minimum 2.1 degree in accountancy or business-related field;
- 420+ points at Leaving Cert level (or equivalent);
- Motivation and ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong communication and English language skills;
- Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
