The ideal candidate will have experience in lean environments, with a proven track record of delivering projects within tight timeframes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team of professionals dedicated to operational excellence and continuous improvement. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support in the area of operational excellence and continuously improving the LEAN maturity of the site.

  • Contributing to the development of strategy focused on embedding a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the Tirln business
  • Ensuring that the site daily management system (3M), KPI reviews and continuous improvement forums are embedded at all levels of the site
  • Lead the RCA process and ensure its effectiveness in the elimination of waste in the site processes
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Third level qualification or relevant experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Project Management
  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt or Black belt certified is a distinct advantage
  • Must have experience in a lean environment in a manufacturing organisation - hands on experience utilizing lean tools in an effective manner
