Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our maintenance team as a Senior Facilities Technician. This role involves performing daily repairs and maintenance on restaurant equipment and property, ensuring timely and accurate completion of scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM), and providing ongoing training on equipment operation and PM training for management.

This position requires working on call rotations, may involve overtime, and may require working in extreme weather conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reactive Maintenance: Performing demand repairs on equipment and property as identified through work orders entered into MyTech-Connect.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance service as outlined in PM work orders, creating work orders for needed repairs identified during PM, and maintaining accurate parts and company-owned tool inventories.
  • Utilization of MyTech-Connect system: Ensuring work orders are completed within the time frame identified by priority codes, organizing and planning daily workload, and monitoring outside contract work in restaurants.

This role also involves participating in Individual Development Planning, completing required safety training, staying current on industry standards, and assisting with supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the facilities manager/supervisor.

We expect applicants to have a High School Diploma or GED, EPA Certification Type I and II, and at least 5 years' experience in directly related HVAC, refrigeration, and general maintenance/repair work or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs, climb a ladder up to 30ft, and work in extreme climates.
