Job Description

This role is responsible for managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Financial Operations: Manage financial processes, including accounts payable, payments, and liquidity reporting.
  2. Reporting and Compliance: Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts, manage annual financial audits, and review VAT and corporation tax returns.
  3. Performance Management and Business Partnership: Support the development of annual budgets, prepare performance analysis, and identify cost management initiatives.
  4. Financial Strategy and Corporate Structure: Assist with corporate structuring projects and integration with finance operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Excellent analytical skills (advanced Excel) with very strong numeracy
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with experience developing relationships with senior internal stakeholders
  • Good commercial acumen and understanding of how the finance function adds value to strategic decision-making
  • Aptitude for proactively identifying issues, proposing and implementing solutions
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple, shifting priorities
