Senior Operations Leader

We are partnering with a client in North Galway to support their daily operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to oversee day-to-day activities, enhance efficiency, and contribute to the company's strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of production operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Development and implementation of operational excellence strategies through best practices and cost control.
- Collaboration on strategic planning and execution.
- Support for international expansion opportunities.
- Leadership of product development initiatives.
- Management of budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Oversight of inventory and production planning.
- Implementation of systems to support scalability (e.g., CRM tools).
- Ensurance of compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitoring and reporting on KPIs.
Requirements:
- Degree in business or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in senior operations leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets effectively.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Experience in agriculture or manufacturing sectors is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
