Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Optical Network Engineer. This role will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating optical networking solutions using existing and new optical fiber technologies.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a wider team to develop a global operations strategy, create automation platforms, and operate the network day-to-day. Working alongside some of the brightest engineers ensures a highly available network that meets capacity demands driven by AI advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable network solutions to meet growing infrastructure demands.
  • Develop software solutions to automate operational processes and explore innovative approaches to reduce manual effort through AI and software solutions.
  • Lead mission-critical operations for both solid core and hollow core fiber networks, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.
  • Design, build, and scale solid-core and hollow-core networks across metro and long-haul domains.
  • Incorporate new knowledge and technologies to enhance the performance and reliability of AI-optimized optical networks.

Requirements:

  • Technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
  • Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
