Senior Transportation Engineer
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to lead the management and technical delivery of transportation schemes from inception through to handover. The role will involve project management, client liaison, and technical lead roles.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects to ensure coordination and compatibility of multi-disciplinary inputs.
- Liaise with clients, develop strong trusted relationships, and proactively manage their expectations.
- Undertake project technical lead and reviewer roles.
- Use technical ability and experience to develop staff.
The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and technical delivery of transportation schemes, with a track record of delivering schemes in the local or national transport arena.
Requirements:- Chartered member of a relevant engineering institution.
- Experience of contract document preparation or contract administration/site supervision using Public Works Contracts.
- Good communication, client management, and interpersonal skills.
