Your Role:

As a Presales Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal part in understanding customer needs and translating them into innovative, executable solutions. This highly technical role requires a deep understanding of networking, server technology, and hardware infrastructure in a cloud environment. You will act as a trusted advisor, designing and presenting solutions that align with operational and business objectives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage with client teams to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Develop and propose innovative solutions that align with the client's operational needs, focusing on networking, server technology, supply chain, procurement, and business intelligence.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and service delivery managers, to design and implement solutions that are deliverable.
  • Lead the SOW process by creating clear, structured documentation that defines deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs for the client.
  • Support the sales team in designing and presenting tailored solutions, ensuring alignment with the client's business cycles, budgetary processes, and procurement strategies.
  • Facilitate seamless handovers of solutions from presales to operational teams, ensuring execution from day one.
  • Contribute to large-scale projects involving cloud hardware placement, network engineering, and physical global delivery.
  • Engage in customer meetings (70%) and internal strategy meetings (30%) to drive project success.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders while ensuring EOS IT Solutions can meet expectations and performance standards.

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of some or all of the following technologies: Software defined architecture (SD-WAN, SD-LAN), Data centre technologies (ACI, VMware, VDI, etc.), Security solutions (NGFW, ZTN, SASE), and knowledge of Cloud solutions (AWS, AZURE, GCP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with major networking vendors, e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HPE-Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, etc.
  • Adept at using initiative, discretion, and judgment to apply technical solutions to complex sales opportunities.
  • Ability to translate design requirements into BOMs and partner with procurement to generate quotes.
  • Experience of customer interactions with technical staff.
  • Knowledge of sales cycle.
  • Impactful verbal and written communication and good presentation skills.
  • Great relationship-building skills, tenacity, resilience.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely as well as with your team to accomplish objectives.
  • Good understanding of the market space and offerings.
  • Previous experience working for a VAR is ideal.
